Growing up, most of us have found that life and the people in it want to direct you into careers. I always knew I wanted to be a performance and restoration mechanic, even when I was working other jobs. I finally smartened up and got back into the garage. What I bring to the table is 40 years of working in the automotive industry. I have a passion for restoring cars, as well as for automotive history. Every project has a unique story. I have been lucky in that I am able to do what I love everyday.I will be taking care of restorations from the first bolt we remove to the last bolt we install. Our passion and expertise will result in high quality restorations. I look forward to working closely with you!
Like many, my story with cars begins with my dad. He was an amazing man, and I could write about his qualities for many pages. The long story short is that he was an immigrant to this country, and one of his first American moments was attending the New York World’s Fair in 1964, where the Mustang debuted. Many years later he bought his first car. It was a 1967 Ford Mustang coupe. 1967 is the year I was born. We lost my dad on Christmas Day 2016. A few months later, I bought myself a 50th birthday present – a 1967 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. It was a project car when I bought it, and from day one, the car represented my relationship with my dad and our love for our country and its people. After a few years, the car was in good shape, but it was not perfect. This drove me crazy.I heard about Ed through word of mouth. I worked with a bunch of guys along the way, and they were all fine. Fine was not good enough in this case. I brought it to Ed to help me finish it, and when he was done, the car was frikkin’ perfect to me. Those words “to me” are the key to understanding Ed. He was so focused on what I wanted, even if what I wanted made no sense to the rest of the entire world. He is the expert, and he never made me feel like the novice I am. Mostly, he knew that it was my car and my dream, and he helped make it reality.
Chris, Eck, and Steve work tirelessly to bring you the best. You wouldn’t know it to look at them, but underneath those worn jeans and work boots, are a pair of real artists.
Behind the scenes, Pam and May build other things. Like websites and social media platforms. They dream up the marketing schemes, take the pictures, and do their best to support the team.
